0-60 acceleration in just 5.4s with zero lag, yet easy drive and can take all the kids toys, thanks to its cavernous storage.
Tesla keeps on changing the names and specs within a model. It was billed as Standard Range when I bought it: The computer tells me I can do 436km between charges, which in HK lasts me about 10-14 days of daily use. However its specs fall between the specs of the current model variations on Tesla's website: It has the higher finish specs of the current Long Range model (like foglights), but is lighter thanks to a single engine. However the engine is more powerful than the single engine now being sold in the basic model now described as RWD (it therefore accelerates much faster and does 0-60 in 5.4s instead of the 6.9s of the current basic / RWD model which only has basic finish specs (for instance no foglights). The battery is also the LFP type, which typically is actually prefers being recharged to 100% full without damaging the battery or risking fires, so you get more much more useful range from it.
It is the best car I have had, being really fun to drive, yet so practical to use as a family car (higher seated position, lots of legroom and shoulder room, and huge amount of storage to carry voluminous toys. everything remote controlled via the phone app...). Need to sell due to relocation.
