Additional Information
Registered in October 2008, our car has clearly been the cherished possession of just four owners from new, the most recent since October 2015, and has travelled fewer than 47,000 miles as substantiated by all MOT’s and an enviable service record.
Our Gen.II Porsche 997 car is the ‘Carrera S’ which therefore boasts the largest of the normally aspirated Direct Fuel Injection engines at 3.8 litres, giving 385bhp dispensed through the “excellent” 7-speed PDK double clutch automatic gearbox according to Peter Morgan in the Porsche Club GB buying guide to the 911 (997). Courtesy of this engine and gearbox, 60mph is reached in under 4.3 seconds and carries on to a 188mph top speed if you’re brave enough.
The colour is Midnight Blue Metallic paintwork (code E9E9) which is not only in exemplary order bumper to bumper, more than belying its age and mileage, but also suits the car effortlessly. This is handsomely contrasted with Sand Beige leather upholstery to the seats and door cards, but the steering wheel, top roll and door caps are finished in Black which really helps the car not to date or to grow tired in areas of high use or exposure to bright sunshine. The wheels are metallic silver 19-inch Carrera S II lightweight alloy wheels, all in excellent order, and shod with high-tread Bridgestone Potenza tyres, further set off by red callipers all-round.
Options include the PDK gearbox, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with telephone module and extended navigation, Universal Audio interface, Three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, Heated leather comfort seats, Rear parking sensors, Top tint windscreen and Porsche vehicle tracker.
Our car further benefits from a meticulous service history from, predominantly, Porsche Centre Solihull with the most recent at Zuffenhaus Porsche Specialists of Birmingham in October 2020 which was a major service, including spark plugs and brake fluid change. The drive belt was replaced in October 2018, and a further interim service is scheduled at a Specialist here in North Yorkshire before handover to new owner.
Our 911 Carrera S comes with two original Porsche keys, two tracker fobs, all tools, leather manual pack, Tracker, alarm and immobiliser. The car is HPI clear, has MOT to October 2022 and is ready immediately for Spring motoring!
