Aston Martin DB9 Volante 5.9 V12

The Aston Martin DB9 was launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in late 2003, being the successor or DB7 and was in production until 2016. It was designed by Ian Calum and Henrik Fisker.

DB9 was made available in a coupe body shape and in a convertible counterpart which was called the DB9 Volante. Inside, the DB9 featured a luxurious interior covered in leather, aluminum, and wood.

The DB9’s engine was taken from the Aston Martin Vanquish, featured a 5.9-liter V12 engine. While the engine was in the front, the gearbox was in the back for better weight distribution. It was fitted with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

In celebration of Aston Martin’s long-standing association with James Bond, and to mark the “DB9 GT Bond Edition” was released.
