Additional Information
**RESERVED**
We’re always pleased to have a high-quality TR on offer here at Manor Classic Cars, and this is no exception… Offered in (original colour) Royal Blue paintwork, with Black leather interior, Black hood and fuel-injected 2.5 litre engine.
Delivered new to Germany as a TR250 in September 1968, this was a LHD car which latterly found itself in the USA, before being repatriated home around 2004, when it was restored and converted to righthand drive and fitted with TR5 fuel-injection. The restoration was undertaken with significant input from TR Bitz, Warrignton. This car is now registered with DVLA as a 1968 Triumph TR5.
The Royal Blue paintwork stands up incredibly well indeed, and the interior appears only very lightly used. The Black roof has faded a little, but the tonneau retains a dark black colour. Factory-fitted equipment include a heater, heated windscreen, Black leather, spare wheel, tool roll and jack.
The engine is lovely. Really eager, a hoot to drive, and effortless to get up and down through the gearbox to build and scrub speed. This car has received proper maintenance over the years and lived in a carcoon with its most recent owner since 2017.
This is a turn-key car in very good order throughout and ready for the 2023 motoring season. Don’t hesitate….
